Day 1

CLUE 1

WHERE THE COURT OF KING ARTHUR LOOKS TO THE SKIES. NO HOUSE HAS DISHES THIS BIG IN THEM

This was a reference to the dishes at Goonhilly earth station on the Lizard peninsular. The dishes are all named after the court of King Authur.

CLUE 2

WHERE THERE IS A PILLAR OF CHEESES ON TOP OF A HILL

This took them to the top of Bodmin Moor to the Cheese Ring. There was a legend about this in the Legend Clue book.

This is straight from the legend clue book and it was Porthtowan beach last clue of the day.

Day 2

CLUE 1

A BEACH WITH A CHILLI BEAN IN ITS NAME, ACROSS A PATH THAT BALLS FLY OVER. OVER A BRIDGE NOT UNDER ONE. TO THE QUEST MASTER IN THE DUNES

They needed a map for this clue. The beach with a chilli bean in its name was

Porth Kidney Sands Lelant. To get to this you walk along a sunken path through a golf course. The bridge is a reference to the railway foot bridge which took them to the quest masters for their next clue.

CLUE 2

FROM THE TOWN OF THE RIGHTEOUS SAINT TRAVEL INLAND TO THE SITE OF THE WARNING FIRE, ABOVE THE COMMON OF THE DISCONTENTED PERSON

This clue needed a map again. The town of the Righteous saint was St Just. The warning fire above the common of the discontented person was the Beacon above Grumbla.

CLUE 3

THE END OF YOUR QUEST IS AT THE HILL OF THE TWO SEAS, HOME OF THE GIANTS WHERE THEIR GOLD AND JEWELS ARE BURIED TOO.

This was Trencrom hill where you can see the north and south coast from the top. It is also in the legend book that giants hid their treasure under it.
